This site comes to you from New Plymouth, Taranaki, on the western 'edge' of the North Island of New Zealand. It is said that all change happens at the 'edge'. Your future begins at the 'edge'.

We live in an era of unprecedented change. We face challenges unlike any we have encountered before. They impact on our personal, professional and organisational lives. Success, satisfaction and happiness is not assured. Creativity must be tapped and every available resource must be used to increase our effectiveness and improve the levels of success, satisfaction and happiness in our lives.

People who live happy and successful lives have shown us many times that the quality of our lives is determined not by what happens to us but what we do about what happens - what we think, what we feel and the actions we take. Nothing has meaning except that which we give it. We are responsible for what we think, what we feel and how we act. However many of our responses have become habits - patterns of conditioned , and very often, unconscious behaviour. This behaviour - these habits - may or may not be useful in achieving the life that you want. The degree of discomfort, dissatisfaction, stress or 'pain' you experience is a signal that something must change.

My experience tells me that what is true for INDIVIDUALS is also true for FAMILIES, WORK TEAMS and ORGANISATIONS.

future EDGE has as its purpose 'to encourage, guide and support individuals, teams and organisations in their movement towards their desired futures.'

'Insanity is doing the same things over and over hoping the results will be different.'

If you want different results you have to do different. Repeating what you have always done, as an individual, work team or organisation, is 'insanity'.
